Loving Concern International
With the motto "The world is my classroom" and "The final revolution of mankind is the revolution of love", Loving Concern International is an international volunteer organisation founded in 1992 to serve the suffering people of the world and meet their holistic needs, working in more than 40 countries around the world.
01. Human Dignity Every human being is an image of God. Created in the image of God, human beings are the most dignified beings.
02. Life of Stewardship We are stewards of love. Love is a response. The love entrusted to us must be shared with those who need it.
03. Love Strategy is needed. The foundation of all things is love. Training in love and service is the best strategy and the completion of everything.
04. Oneness Oneness is the best wisdom. All resources must be mobilised. It requires total co-operation that surpasses all understanding and standards. Where we cannot go alone, we can go together.
05. Community We are a community. Hunger, disease and poverty are our collective responsibility. Together, we build life and dignity based on responsibility for our neighbours.
06. Dreams and Challenges We must have dreams. We need to design a life that looks beyond our individual life to the world. We need challenges and experiences to recognise the lessons and cries of the blessings of human history and the calling of the dark lands.
07. Readiness It takes steps. Even if we're in an area where everything is impossible, it's still possible to love. To do this, the first step is to create a pegboard to sow the seeds of love.
